Ireland Reads Day 2024. Kildare libraries have teamed up. Events have been taking place to mark 'ireland reads', an initiative to encourage people of all ages to pick up a book and get reading.
Ireland reads is a campaign to get the whole country reading this month in the lead up to a national day of reading on saturday 24 february the campaign is asking. It is st patrick’s day, with an estimated 500,000 people expected in the capital for the parade, with 100,000 visitors from overseas bolstering.
